ROMANO NERVOSO - FROM VILLAROSA TO ROTHERHAM

From Villarosa to Rotherham is Romano Nervoso’s fifth studio album, released on 8 March 2024 by Mottow Soundz. The Italian-Belgian band returns to its punk roots with 14 urgent tracks, written and recorded in less than four weeks.

The album connects two places close to Giacomo Panarisi: Villarosa, home of his Sicilian roots, and Rotherham, his wife’s hometown in South Yorkshire. Eight songs in Italian give way to six in English, mixing garage-punk energy, glam swagger and rock ’n’ roll hooks.

From Siculo Nervoso and Il Senso Della Vita to It’s Halloween and Electrified, the songs arrive fast and hit hard. Nicole Laurenne of The Darts adds vocals and Farfisa organ to Children of the Sun.
